RIP Richard "Dick" Winters -
The
legendary WW2 Major that inspired the series, Band of Brothers.
The humility of the man was amazing, part of the legacy of his
generation. His grandson once asked him, "Grandpa, were you a
hero in the war?" Grandpa said "No.........but I served in the
company of heroes."
