Dear Heavenly Father
Our Lord and Savior from up above
We thank You for pouring out Your unfailing love
As we wake to another day
Give us the strength to do Your ways
Forgive us Oh Lord
For we have sinned
Help us to turn away from the world and never give in
How many times have I turned away?
How many times have You been dismayed?
How many times have You taken me back?
How many times have I fulfilled my vow?
Why do I do this?
I'm stuck in confusion
I'm fully aware of Your love and crucifixion
But when temptation is thrown before me
I hesitate at first
But then I let it consume me
In the back of my head I'm always thinking
"Don't worry about it, God is always forgiving"
It's not so much of the fact that I've committed a sin
It's just so pitiful how I just give in
Just picturing the thought of You looking down
Watching me that second as You turn away and frown
How could I give You so much grief?
LORD Your the only one I need
I come before you on bended knees
My tears are flowing, hear my plea
I'm sick of this oh Lord, I want no more
Change my heart and make me Yours
Let all who see me, see Your works
Strengthen me oh God and make me alert
I'm so blessed for You’re a forgiving God
I ask you Father, please touch me now
I pray for my brothers and sisters in Christ
Guide us and lead us in Your own precious sight
Help us to follow all of Your commands
In Jesus precious Name I pray
AMEN
