Welcome to The Tonight Show
I'm your host Chung Lao.
When Paul told me he was getting married way back when, I was like,
"Yeah Man,
Save it....." Little did I know how serious he was about it.
I was doubtful b/c I was like Paul, going to India to get married. What?
But as you all
know, he went, and married the
exact person
God had intended for him, namely
Blossom Moses.
I don't pretend to know Blossom well, but what I do know is that she is
extremely kind, caring, out going, and eager to make things right. Blossom
also comes across as a person of strong character and will, which should help
keep a certain person who likes to have shopping escapades.....in line.

Chung
Lao: Hey Blossom, how are you?
Blossom: Hi! Chris…I’m good
Chung
Lao: Right off the bat, let me ask you. What was your
initial impression (first 7 days) of the U.S.?
Blossom: Hmm…Well I must admit that for the first couple of days I just
couldn’t believe it that I was finally here with Paul, cause
the 1 month that I was waiting for my visa after our wedding
seemed like a year. The first week I didn’t really go out
much, except for church and the Christian school, I liked the
people, found them quite warm and friendly.
Chung
Lao: Did you, your friends or family have stereotypes of
American people while you were in India ? If so, can you
tell me about them?
Blossom: Well most people in India have this notion about Americans
having very fast lives, and most of the time People of very poor moral
values…
Chung
Lao: How do you view America now?
Blossom: After being here for nearly 6 months now, I’ve come to realize
that there are people here who are truly seeking God and
sincerely trying to get ready for the Lord’s soon coming. It
just encourages me to see the youth of our church so sincere
in their efforts to please God, even though they are faced
with so many temptations. I only meet people from the church
and Christian school, they are all the people I know in this
country so they are all I can talk about.
Chung
Lao: What do you think of IndaPhatFarm.com?
Blossom: Honestly speaking I used to visit your site nearly every single
day when I was in India, cause I would get to see Paul’s
pics I think it’s really cool. The video clips are
hilarious and the pics are also great. And I also enjoy some
of the write-ups. I really liked all the stuff that was up
about Blessan Samuel when he passed away, it was so
sincere.
Chung
Lao: I have heard some good reports about your cooking ability.
What is your specialty?
Blossom: Well I don’t think I’m a great cook. From people’s
reactions, my biryani seems to be my specialty.
Chung
Lao: Having said that, what is YOUR favorite food?
Blossom: I love the Chinese food you get in India, I specify India cause the
Chinese food there is tastier than here for me. You have some
really good Chinese restaurants in Bombay.
Chung
Lao: Where did you grow up?
Blossom: I grew up in Bombay.
Chung
Lao: What is something you can’t stand in a person?
Blossom: I can’t stand dishonesty, it so puts me off…
Chung
Lao: How tall are you, exactly?
Blossom: Around 5’9.
Chung
Lao: Have you become a Redskins fan yet?
Blossom: Ha ha ha though they’ve been loosing, well yeah I am a Redskins
fan like my hubby.
Chung
Lao: Favorite movie?
Blossom: Schindeller’s List, that movie was just so heart moving… Made
me wonder if I’d ever do all that he did for a race he
didn’t even belong to…
Chung
Lao: Besides your family and friends, what do you miss most about
home?
Blossom: I miss sitting by the seashore in the evenings in Bombay and just
chilling…
Chung
Lao: Are you sick of all the snow yet?
Blossom: Naaa not yet…Been
lucky it hasn’t snowed too much yet…
Chung
Lao: Paul is one of the funniest guys I’ve ever met.
Is that what drew you to him?
Blossom: Oh no when we first started talking, I didn’t even know he had a
funny side to him. He seemed so serious, I guess what drew me
to him was the fact that he has no guile in him and his love
for Christ.
Chung
Lao: Ok, let's get past the pleasantries here, what do you REALLY think of
Paul’s jokes. Don’t worry, its between you and me,
no one will ever read this.
Blossom: Yeah-right Chris I take your word for it, no one will ever read
this huh??? Hee hee hee…I think his jokes are funny,
sometimes I laugh just looking at the funny expressions he
makes.
Chung
Lao: Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Blossom: Quite honestly speaking I’ve never thought of that. I am not a
futuristic thinker, I live for the day and try to make the
best of each moment.
Chung
Lao: Name someone you admire, and why.
Blossom: I admire my mom, I’ve seen her walk through the toughest times
ever, but never once did I see her faith shaken. I pray that
some day I’ll be close to what she is. She is my hero MY
MAMMA.
Chung
Lao: What kind of music do you listen to?
Blossom: PMO kinda music :)
Chung
Lao: What type of church did you attend?
Blossom: I attended New Life Fellowship, it is also a Pentecostal church but
not part of TPM.
Chung
Lao: What is your favorite verse/passage from the Bible?
Blossom: I keep having different favorite verses at different times,
right now my favorite is Matthew 11:29&30. I am trying to
learn more and more of him each day.
Chung
Lao: Ok, you go to sleep one night, and when you wake up, you
and Paul are lying on the deck of the Titanic, on that cold
night, in the year 1912. As the ship begins to sink, and
the last lifeboat is being loaded up, a crew member motions
for you to hurry and get on board the last lifeboat. The
thing is, there is only room for you, and not Paul. What
do you do?
Blossom: Hmm quite an imaginative sense of thinking you have huh Chris…
Well the answer is simple I would kiss Paul good bye and off I
would go on the last boat and pray that God saves him…Ha ha
ha ha…Just kidding…What I really would do is stay back on
the boat and make sure he stayed with me too (hee hee…)
cause there’s no point living without him anyways…
Chung
Lao: Are we living in the End Times?
Blossom: Yeah we definitely are…(Quite scary)
Chung
Lao: What advice do you have for young people that are
searching for that special person?

Blossom: There’s just one advice, Rest just as Adam did and let God find
you your partner, he is the most amazing matchmaker in the
universe. Just spend time with him and ask him to prepare you
for whomever it is he has for you.
Chung
Lao: Lastly, leave us with a parting thought.
Blossom: One of my favorite phrases by Benjamin Disraeli… “Circumstances
might be out of the control of man, but his conduct is totally
in his power” So no matter what the situation just make sure
you do the right thing.
Chung Lao: Thanks Blossom. The next edition of The Tonight Show is
a special one. Vinod interviews Benson Samuel.
Keep it locked.
