The pre-liminary date for this tourney is looking like May 31st. If anyone has an objection to this date, please contact us. The following churches have confirmed their interest in this tournament. Washington Strong Island Philly Yonkers Brooklyn Newark Houston Chicago Here are the rules. For this year's tourney, only members of your respective church are applicable. Ex-church members can play, but the main thing is, no ringers. We all know people that can play some serious ball, so there is no point if every team brings their hometown NBA squad. Lets promote some church unity here. You must have a MINIMUM of 10 players, and no more than 12, to qualify. Lastly, I need for all team reps to e-mail chunglao@hotmail.com and vpv1227@hotmail.com with your CONFIRMED ROSTERS. Team reps, please include a phone # you can be reached at in your e-mail. This really caught all of us off guard. Some may be asking why he was taken at such a young age. Well, if you think about it, it's a good thing. Bro. Philip didn't have to wait too long to be with Jesus. His worries/troubles are over. He made it. I spoke w/Bro Joe, and he had these words regarding the life of Bro. Philip. "Whatever Philip did, he did it with his whole heart. He never shyed away from any task given him. He was very helpful, respectful, and he served God for his generation. As Paul said, follow me as I follow Christ. That is what we need to do." Bro. Philip is in heaven now.
