Football,
Football & MORE FOOTBALL
For
those who have been loyal readers for the last three years, well you might
remember that I started off writing an
NFL Rundown column for IPF. Well
today I'm taking a turn to the past; it is time to talk some football, I might
even throw in some power rankings. So if you like football, enjoy. If you don't
well I hope you read this anyways, but if you want to turn away, that's ok too.
For
starters, the Indy Colts will not lose a single game the rest of the season. I
know your saying
"wow, Jon, way to go out on a limb,"
but I am convinced as are many out there that they are just too good.

The
only game they may have some trouble with is against San Diego, but that game is
in Indy and you cannot stop Peyton Manning on turf at home. Now all that being
said, I'm still holding out on my Super Bowl picks for now, though I believe the
Colts to be the odds on favorite to win it all. Worst team in the league,
well obviously that would be the
1-10 Houston Texans, but what else would you
expect. The two teams that I am a bit surprised at for being so bad this year
(and actually very happy their so bad) are the Green Bay Packers and the Philly
Eagles. The Packers are just so depleted by injuries that it is almost painful
to watch. I almost feel sorry for iron-man Brett Favre, ALMOST, but not
quite.
That brings me to the Eagles.
First off let me give deserved props to Andy Reid and the Eagles organization,
for telling T.O. to shut up and go home. TIME OUT T.O., even with you the
team sucked this year but, at least without you they are free of a grumbling,
big mouthed, malcontent. Guess we can now all agree that T.o. is the only one to
blame for all the drama throughout his career, not the 49ers or Steve Mariuci,
or Donavan McNabb. For a man who is one of the most talented wide receivers to
ever play, he has done a fine job of talking his way right out of a job. I say
let him rot, don't release him, that would just be giving him what he
wants, let him sit at home counting his money.
How
could I leave you without talking about my Bears and Chris' Redskins
(did you hear that..... wait... just listen... "choke, choke, choke")
sorry Chris. #1defense in the league, on pace to allow the fewest amount of
points in league history. Who cares if the Bears can't score. Who needs more
then 14 or 15 points a game if you keep the other team under 10 every game. Add
to that a dominate running game and you have the NFC's second best team.

Now
about those Redskins.
How's the Joe Gibbs thing workin' for ya? Hey he did win the Nextel Cup. With
the Skins you can count on 1 of 2 things. One, they either just start off bad
from the beginning of the season and just get worse as it goes. Or two they win
4 or 5 games to start the season, get all their fan's hopes up and then choke
away the rest of the season. I said it before, their early offense was a
mirage, and their defense is overrated.
POWER RANKINGS
1)Colts: Can anyone come close to stopping them? I think not.
2)Broncos: Jake Plummer finally is looking like a franchise QB.
3)Bengals: Carson Palmer for MVP?
4)Seahawks: Not sure they will be here at the end of the year.
5)Bears: At
this point they have earned this spot.
6)Chargers: Marty might be right about LT being the best RB ever.
7)Panthers:
Strong defense.
8)Falcons: Michael Vick is still Michael Vick.
9)Steelers:
Have to get Big Ben healthy.
10)Chiefs: Great offense, could scare some teams.
Alright you all have a good weekend. I am anxiously awaiting 12PM Sunday so I
can watch my Bears go 9-3.
PEACE.

World Champs & Homecoming....
I am almost in stunned disbelief as I sit
here and write. THE CHICAGO WHITE SOX ARE THE WORLD SERIES
CHAMPIONS! Now the only problem is that I am not a White Sox
fan. I am a die hard Cubs fan and it really pains
me to see the Sox fans so happy today. But I will be gracious
about it, I have congratulated every Sox fan that I know. For
all who are not from Chicago, it may be hard to understand what
this means for this city. We have two baseball teams and neither
has won a World Series since at least 1917.
The last Cubs World Series win was in 1907.
It is like being from Boston except times 2. I have to admit, at
some point last night as the game neared the ninth inning I
found myself silently rooting for the CHICAGO White Sox to
win. I just have never experienced what it would be like
to have a baseball team from Chicago win it all. And as the
final out was recorded I let out a shout. But that was last
night, this morning I woke up sick to my stomach,
I HATE THE WHITE SOX!!!!
Well, it's Homecoming week here at ONU!! We kick off the
basketball season tonight with a Homecoming game, and tomorrow
we have the Homecoming football game. It's always nice to see
those past generations, that walked the same halls and sat in
the same classrooms that my generation now fills, back on
campus. It makes me appreciate the
school's history even more.
Well I hope everyone has a great weekend. Peace.

- Jonathan
New School, Hurricanes, Our Economy &
FOOTBALL
Greetings from Olivet
Nazarene University, in beautiful Bourbonnais,
Il. Now I know some of you are thinking "Olivet
Nazarene University?, I thought he was going to
Pensacola Christian College," not any more
I'm not. I served my time, and now I am
attending my third school in three years. But I
promise this is my last stop. Life here at ONU
is great. The campus is
beautiful, the people are
friendly, the courses are challenging, but most
importantly the atmosphere is very nice and laid
back. So far, so good, all though I'm not so
sure how pumped up about being here I am going
to be after I get back my Psychology exam score
tomorrow.
Obviously all that needs to be
said about hurricane Katrina, and the total path
of devastation it left in its wake, has been
said. But I still would like to add my two
cents. While I am deeply saddened for all the
victims of this disaster, all who lost a home or
loved one, I find myself selfishly worried about
how this disaster will affect me and what
consequences it will have for those of us who
are not from that region of the country. If you
have been keeping up with the news at all in the
last 3 weeks, CNN, Fox News, MSNBC, ect., by now
you should have realized that this storm is
going to effect all Americans. The biggest
impact will be financially. When all is said and
done the recovery and
rebuilding of New Orleans and other cities
affected by Katrina will top 200 billion
dollars (that's 200 billion
federal dollars, in case any one is not aware
that means 200 billion tax dollars), yes money
that you and I will help pay. Money that I
fear you and I will be helping to pay for years
to come. Not even taking into consideration the
fact our government does not even have close to
that much money at its disposal. The USA is
currently operating on a $400 billion plus
deficit, spending billions of dollars we do
not have, from the war on terror in Iraq, to all
types of useless social programs, and foreign
aid. My point in bringing all this up is that I
am worried about my generations future. You need
look no farther then the corner gas station,
where prices at the pumps were already at all
time highs and now there is fear that we may be
paying $5.00 a gallon as soon as Monday.

And now there
is a very real threat of another hurricane
hitting down south, one which may potentially
wipe out some of the main oil refineries in our
country. This time category 4 hurricane Rita is
set to hit southern Texas, and importantly
Houston. To all our friends
and IPF readers,
and writers down in
Houston, my prayer is that you,
your families, and the whole city of Houston
will be spared the devastation of this storm. I
hope everyone who could has gotten away to
safety, and those who are waiting it out, stay
safe.
At times like these it seems hard
enjoy the fun things in life, but still it is
week 3 of the NFL season. Props to the Skins for
being 2-0, but don't get to excited Skins fans,
your offense is offensive, and you still have to
face the Eagles. This is a big week for the
Bears, they have a good test in the Cincinnati
Bengals this Sunday. It's
gonna be one of the leagues best offenses
against one of the best defenses. Bears by
6. Thats it for this week. I
would like to hear from anyone who agrees or
disagrees with me on my take on all things
current both politically, socially, and in the
world of sports.
Hope you all can try
and enjoy yourselves this weekend despite what's
going on all around us. God
Bless. E-mail me at

Bro. Joe, Tournament Trash Talk & Stuff......
I
know just about everything that can be said about Br. Joe has already been said
or written, but I just want to add my two cents. I had the opportunity to work
personally with Br. Joe for
a
little over a year
while he was here in Chicago helping with the construction of a church building,
for the church he and I both were affiliated with. What a year that was, I
really didn't know him too well prior to that, all I knew was that when I was
growing up, I heard whispers of this
"cool" Hispanic minister
who really got along
with the young people.
But
during the summer of '02 and into '03,
I got to know the real Joe Rosado. He was a down to earth kind of guy who did
not care much for looking holy, but more about being holy and living his life in
that manner. One thing I will always remember is that Bro. Joe did not suffer
stupid people too well (those who knew him should know what I mean) if he
thought you were being ridiculous or had strange opinions on things he let you
know exactly that. He did not care to much for the politics of ministry, but for
the actual ministering. I remember asking him one day why he gave up his whole
life and family to serve God. "Because this is what the Lord called me to do,
you know what I mean."
Joe
knew beyond a shadow of a doubt what his calling in life was,
and he was happy to live out the rest of his life doing just that.
Bro. Joe had a very strong personality, and anyone who knows me knows that I do
as well, so you can imagine that with the two of working together everyday for
over a year there were some clashes, but I never lost my admiration for the man.
I gained a friend that summer in Bro. Joe Rosado,
A FRIEND FOR LIFE!
Ok the time is upon us, in 8 days the
3rd
annual BSC tournament
will begin, and just for the record I am not making the 15 hour trip to come
home in second place (that's all the trash talking I will do till we hit the
court). I want to encourage anyone who can, to come out and support all
the players and teams. It is going to be a great fun filled day. For more info
just click on the link at the top.
Just wanted to give a quick shout out to my younger bro Jeremy who just
turned 18 this past Sunday, the kid is 18! I can't believe it, oh by the
way he is also 6'2" and has a nice jump shot, so you all might want to watch out
for him next weekend, and no he is not as "slow" and "fat" like the rest of us.
That's it for now you all have a great weekend. God Bless, see you in two weeks.

Justice Roberts,
Good Fiction & Stuff......
This has been a pretty historic week, for most of us President Bush's
announcement of John Roberts for the recently vacant Supreme Court seat, is a
first in our life time. I know, Bill Clinton nominated two of the city justices,
but I was not old enough in 1993 and 1994
to
appreciate the significance of the process.
Now that things are different I have come to realize that this nomination of
John Roberts, and the possible nomination of 1 maybe 2 more justices in the next
year or two, has the potential to shape the future of America.
As a
young person my
life and the conditions and culture in which I will live my life can and will be
influenced by the men and woman who sit on the high court. Many issues
that are at the fore front of our society will be fought in the Supreme Court
during the coming years, and it is for this reason that I, as a conservative
American, take much interest in what is going on with the court.
Like
it or not, the
Supreme Court has basically turned into a legislative body, making and dictating
social policies, instead of upholding the laws of the constitution. That is why
it is absolutely necessary for the supreme court, and all levels of our court
system to have sitting jurists that are conservative and God fearing.

John Roberts confirmation into the Supreme Court is an opportunity to have a
conservative, strict follower of our constitution on the bench for the next
several decades. Issues that are very important to us as Christians such as
abortion, gay rights, and stem cell research are being frequently ruled on by
the courts. The more conservatives on the court, the better the chance of
turning the tide of ever increasing social liberalism, back to a more
conservative God fearing society.
So how many of you have heard of the Oprah Book Club, well I am going to be
starting the
Jonathan Book Club.
Ok maybe not, but I do have some book recommendations for you all. For the last
few years I have been a big fan John Grisham and his lawyer novels. But recently
I have gotten into Dan Browns work. I finished his book Digital Fortress last
week and was pretty impressed.

I
have just started Angels&Demons, and will start his best selling, The Da Vinci
Code when I am done with that. These books are absolutely thrilling, I have a
hard time putting them down. Brown has a way of making you have to turn the page
for more.
Finally,
for anyone thinking of going to check out the Fantastic Four, let me spare you
the time,
it
was far from fantastic.
I know, I know, that was cheezy, but this movie was very disappointing. From
being way too short (1hour 30min with previews) to being incredibly childish, F4
was a big let down. One recommendation for those who are into
action/thrillers go out and rent Constantine, now on DVD. That's it for
this week, you all have a good one. I'm out.

Farewell to a Great Man
This past
week in New York City, Dr. Billy Graham held what could possibly
be his last evangelistic crusade in the states. For the last 60
years Dr. Graham has been the leading figure in the Christian
movement all across the world. Everywhere he has gone in the
last six decades or so,
he has shared the gospel without shame and without watering it
down as is seen with many evangelists these days. Dr.
Graham's crusades would draw thousands of people to each
service, all there to hear him share the gospel, no surprises
you knew what you were getting and what you would hear, but that
never stopped people from coming.

The number of people that have been led to salvation as a
result of Dr. Grahams ministry has to be in the hundreds of thousands. He also
has had the chance to minister personally to many presidents and world leaders.

All of Dr. Grahams work and ministry has now come to
what seems to be the end.
His health is rapidly failing him, in the last few years he has been suffering
from Parkinson's disease, and a few other medical problems. He has since passed
over the leadership role of his ministry to his son Franklin Graham, and has
done very few crusades. It is somewhat of a painful thing to watch for me
personally, being a big admirer of Dr. Graham. Even as a young kid I knew who
Billy Graham was, the preacher who spoke in big
stadiums. So to see his decline is kind of
tough. And to make matters worse I just read an editorial from someone who
attended last weeks crusade which really upset me:
It
seems that Dr. Graham has been taken advantage
of by the Clintons. Both Bill and Hillary
attended the crusade and sat on stage next to the pulpit. Not only was Bill
given a chance to speak, he even managed to get Dr. Graham to give an
endorsement for Hillary's presidential ambitions in '08. I could not
believe it when I read it. I think you may be interested in taking a look at it
for yourselves
http://magic-city-news.com/article_4149.shtml.
Though some may criticize Dr. Graham, I put the blame on the Clintons who took
advantage of an aging man of God. I will always remember him and his
ministry for what it was, an instrument of God.
Hope you all have a good weekend, and to all those
traveling to a certain church convention next week, of which I will not be able
to attend, stay safe, and God Bless.

Home,
The Weather & Stuff......
Well let me tell you, it feels great to be home.
After a long 3 months at school, there is no place like home. Is it just me or
does absence really make the heart grow fonder? Before I left for school I
couldn't wait to leave (you know being sick of living at home and all that
jazz), but after being away for awhile
I found myself missing those same things that I had grown sick of. Making new
friends is nice and good but friends and family that you have grown up with, and
who love you, well, nothing can beat that.
Alright another thing that has been bugging me is the weather. Is it just me or
have temperatures around the country been abnormally chilly? Now I was in
Pensacola and it normally is around 80 degrees in April, but this spring it was
only around 60 degrees. This winter in Orlando it was in the high 50's, when it
usually stays in the 70's. And here in Chicago,
when by this time of year it is consistently in the high 70's and low 80's, we
have been fortunate to stay in the 60's. Hey this is my summer vacation, if I
want cool weather I'll go to Alaska, it better warm up and fast.
Well justice was served when the Miami Heat
swept the Washington Wizards out of the
playoffs. Of course after the Wizards stole the first round from my Bulls, I was
looking for them to get shalacked. Better luck next year D.C... And how about
them gas prices, I get sick to the stomach every time I have to fill the tank
and pay more than $2.30 per gallon, what is happening to our economy? I know the
solution: lets raise the minimum wage. What's it at now? $10/hour (just
kidding). Don't get me started, I could go off about inflation and all things
liberal policies are doing to our nation. But honestly I do not have the time
right now.
It's Friday night and I'm going out.
Happy Memorial Day everyone,
hope you all enjoy the 3 day weekend. This weekend take a second to show some
appreciation for those who have served and given their lives for freedom by
serving in the armed forces.

NBA Playoffs 2005...
The
playoffs are here and for the first time in 7 years I actually
care about them. That is because the Bulls are in and they are
on a roll. Now for all the readers out there from D.C. I want to
apologize for the
whooping that my Bulls are putting on your Wizards,
I mean at this point I am wondering if it is going to be a four
game sweep....

In
the other match-ups, looks like Miami is going to roll over the Nets, and
Detroit is absolutely putting a whooping the 76ers. The most evenly matched
series in the East at this point is the Celtics v Pacers. That one is going
seven games.
Out
West it looks like the Suns are going to sweep the Grizzlies, and I am hoping
that the Mavericks decide to show up against the Rockets and play a little
defense, wait, they never play defense,
what
was I thinking?
After the Spurs laid an egg in game 1, they came back absolutely put a beating
on the Nuggets in game 2. You know it is domination when the losing team's high
scorer for the game has only 12 points. The biggest surprise for me so far has
been the Super Sonics going up 2-0 against the Kings, I really expected this
series to be much closer, and I didn't think the Sonics would perform in the
playoffs.
Well
time for my picks-
Eastern Conference:
First Round winners will be Bulls, Heat, Pistons, and
Celtics
Second Round winners will be Heat, Pistons
Eastern Conference champ will be the Detroit Pistons
Western Conference:
First Round winners Spurs, Suns, Sonics, Rockets
Second Round winners Spurs, Suns
Western Conference champ will be the Phoenix Suns
The NBA Champion for 2005 will be the defending champions the
Detroit Pistons.
That's it for this week, things are really busy now with just 3 days of classes
left then 1 week of finals. Hope everyone is surviving. Peace.

The End Is Near,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY & John Grisham
Well the end is upon us, and no I don't mean the end of the world (though many
of you out there seem to think the Pope's recent death has something to do with
the end of the world. I submit that it was just his time to go, I mean he was
over 80 years old) I am
referring to the end of the semester.
Yes I started a count down about 60 days ago, and know I am down to a mere 26
days to go. I can honestly say that I am now physically worn out by this
semester. But I have kind of caught a second wind, and I am starting to pick my
grades up. Gotta keep that GPA up or I will be in school till 2010, and that's
just not how we Puerto Ricans do it. Four years of school for us is enough.
I want to take this chance to say
HAPPY BIRTHDAY
to someone who is really special to me. She knows who she is, happy birthday and
I hope you have a great time with your family. I am still thinking about you.
Lately I have been reading a lot of novels by John Grisham,
for those of you who don't know, he writes novels about lawyers and legal
mysteries. I think I have read about 8 of his books this semester alone, they
are definitely a fun and interesting read. Anyway the reason I bring this up is
to say that I have been giving some thought to going to law school after I
finish my under undergraduate work. I really think it would be an interesting
profession, the only thing is I'm not to sure I want to put in 70+ hours a week
to make a living, and like I said earlier the thought of an additional three
years of school just doesn't appeal to me.
Maybe I've been reading to many novels.
Well that's it for this week, I hope you all have a great weekend.

NEVER FORGOTTEN & College Hoops
Now I
am sure most are aware of the fact that this last Monday, March
14th was the two year anniversary of
Blessan
Samuel. First, I want to say to any of
Blessan's
family or friends that read this column, I am so sorry for your
loss, I can only imagine what these last two years without him
have been like. It is said that time heals all wounds, I am not
sure if that is completely accurate, but I pray in these last
two years God has brought some comfort to those who have been
affected by his death. Though the pain may never go away
entirely, my prayer is that God will some how fill the void that
Blessan's
death left in many people's heart's.

Blessan
was a blessing to many, and he was my friend. In the short life
that he lived I know he had a huge impact on many young people.
Recently here at school two of the students have gone on to
glory, and it just makes me wonder about the suddenness of it
all, of life. But through it all I have to be reminded that God
is in control, though that does not make it any less painful, it
does give us as Christians hope. So as we remember our friend,
lets not forget the hope that we have of seeing him some day.
Blessan
may be gone for now, but he is
NEVER FORGOTTEN.
Well this time of year usually is very exciting for me, that's
right March Madness is here. Not only is this the best time of
the year for sports (minus of course the Cubs being in the World
Series in October), but my team is also the number #1 ranked
team heading into this years tournament. That's right the
University of Illinois is the team to beat this year.
Right off the bat let me tell you
that I have the U of I beating the University of Kansas for the
championship. I am no expert but I live filling out my tourney
bracket every year, even though as I am writing this two of my
picks have proven to be very wrong, earlier today there where
two upsets that I had not predicted. Anyway it is definitely
something that I have a lot of fun with. In case you care, my
Final Four teams are U of Illinois, U of Kansas, Wake Forest
University, and Michigan State University.
Ok
that is all for this update, have a great weekend y'all. God
Bless

MIDTERMS, WEIGHT
LOSS & STEROIDS
It has been a while since I last updated, not sure if I
remember how to do it. Hope all is well with the IPF family. So it's about that
time of the semester again for those of us in college,
MIDTERMS. Yeah though I dread the
exams, I look forward to the fact that the semester is half over and summer is
almost here. And yes for many of you it also means spring break is right around
the corner. I really need to do well on the midterm exams, I haven't exactly
been tearing in up in my classes, if you know what I mean (hope my parents
aren't reading this). I guess I will be spending a lot of time in the library
next week.
Now I know last July, during the annual
convention that the church I attend holds, many of you were rather concerned
with how large I had gotten (ok, maybe you weren't that concerned). Many were
very polite about it and simply asked if I had been working out, trying not to
offend me and all. Well the honest answer is the only thing I had been working
was the drive-thru window at McDonalds, Popeyes, and Wendys, and well you get
the point. Now I hope nobody thinks I am bragging (well I kind of am) but since
last July
I have dropped about 45 pounds, and by the end of this
semester it will be closer to 60 pounds that I will have lost. If anyone is
curious as to how, well lets just say running, working out, and a whole lot less
of food intake has done the trick. I must say though I do go to bed pretty
hungry.
Alright enough about me, lets talk a little baseball. Not sure how many of you
out there are baseball fans, but I absolutely love baseball. I am one of the few
people I know who can sit through an entire 4 hour baseball game on television.
Now if my team will just win a world series for the
first time in 90+ years. But even if you are not
a fan I am sure most every one has heard or read in the papers about the recent
steroid scandal in the game. Seems that these great home run hitters have been
juicin' it up. Let me make clear my position on this, IT IS CHEATING. And
I would have no problem whatsoever if the league banned all those that used
steroids permanently, that includes superstars such as Barry Bonds, Jason Giambi,
Gary Sheifield, and Sammy Sosa. It is a shame that these players have cast such
a dark cloud over the game I love.
Shows what greed can drive men to do. Well thats all the
ranting I will do for this week. Hope you all have a good weekend. God Bless.

Iraq, The Super Bowl & My Life....
As I am sure many of you would agree, I felt
a small sense of satisfaction this last Sunday when I heard that
the elections in Iraq went off ok. Now there were a few
incidents and a few people were killed due to suicide bombers,
but that did not stop the majority of people in Iraq from
voting.
It made me feel a little better about our troops being
over there. Now like most Americans I would like for our troops
to come home, but we have to be realistic. The success of the
elections was just the beginning of the future for Iraq. We must
stay the course there and continue to support the new government
both militarily and economically. I would like though, for the
president to set a clear time table as to when we will began to
pull out our troops, at the same time I realize that terrorist
and insurgents do not work by a calendar. Please be in constant
prayer for our troops all over the world.
Well it is here, the Sunday every American born male looks
forward to each year around this time,
SUPER BOWL SUNDAY. Now since most of the
super bowl games in the past few years have been rather boring I
must admit that I watch more for the commercials than I do for
the actual game. But I think this year will be different. I
believe the Eagles will play the Patriots very close, but I have
to go with the Pat's. (Lets hope there are no wardrobe
malfunctions this year).
Patriots 27- Eagles 21
And finally, yesterday I turned 20 (I know, I know you are
saying We're Happy For You! at this very moment) and for the
first time in my life I am not at home to enjoy this momentous
(pretty big word ain't it) occasion with the familia. But alas
life goes on, seems like every year these things become less and
less important. Well hope you all have a good weekend, God
Bless.

Friday Night
Lights
I have a movie
recommendation for you all, yesterday I had the chance to watch
"Friday Night Lights", for all you football fans out there, you might
want to check it out. It is a great true story of a high school football team in
Texas (were football is king) in pursuit of the state championship.
Speaking of
football, there are some great games this weekend. I am
still holding to my earlier prediction of the Indy Colts going all the way, but
if I am to be proved wrong this is the weekend that it would have to happen.
The New England Patriots are going to be the toughest team the Colts will
face in the playoffs. Till this point in his career Peyton Manning is 0-5
against the Patriots. But this time around the Pats defense is hobbled, their
starting corner back Ty Law is out, and their starting D-End is extremely
questionable.

I heard somewhere that the Pats are purposely
leaving their field uncovered this week even though it has been raining all
week. Why? Well they are trying everything possible to slow the Colts offense
down, they think that a soggy, torn up grass field will make it impossible for
the Colts. Colts
28 Patriots 20

Even without TO I am looking for the Eagles to
pull out the win against the Vikings. Look for Donavan McNabb to do more running
then he has done since they got TO, he will have to make things happen with his
legs as well as his arm. But do not discount the Vikings, not when they have
Randy Moss and Daunte Culpepper. In the end it is going to be the Vikings
defense that does them in.
Eagles 24
Vikings 21

The one team that the Falcons did not want to see
in the playoffs will be facing them this weekend. The Rams are probably the
second best offense in a dome on artificial turf. So look for them to have a big
day indoors against the Falcons. The Falcons are a one man team, Michael Vick. Rams
35 Falcons 21

Lastly, this game gives the best chance of an
upset. I know the Steelers are the number 1 seed, and that they are 15-1, and
that rookie QB Ben Roethlisberger is undefeated as a starter, but I would not be
all that surprised if they lose. Rookie QB's are not know for being the best
under pressure, and this is the playoffs. Not sure if Big Ben will hold under
the pressure. But I am not convinced that the Jets will be able to do anything
against the Steelers defense. So.... Steelers
20 Jets 13
Hope you all have a good weekend, and enjoy the
games. I'm out. Email me at
