| The Blessan Samuel Memorial Fund
|

Blessan's family was awarded his posthumous Masters degree at the University of Houston commencement ceremony, on May 10, 2003.

The Blessan Samuel Memorial Fund has been established in the C.T. Bauer College of Business for those who wish to pay tribute to Blessan through contribution.  The family is touched by this gesture, and at a later time, we will further discuss with the family Blessan's legacy and how this fund will be designated.

    1.  Faculty/ Staff may contribute to the fund through the Faculty/ Staff campaign form you should have received via interoffice mail.  To do so, check the "Other" box, designate the total amount, and write "Blessan Samuel Memorial Fund" in the blank entitled "I wish to make my gift in honor/ memory of".  Your contribution will then be forwarded to the Memorial Fund established at the Bauer College.  Should you choose the payroll deduction option, these funds will not begin being deducted until October 2003, yet your pledge will be recognized by the Bauer College immediately.

    2.  A downloadable form and more information on the campaign can be found at
    this site
.  Any individual may contribute directly to the Blessan Samuel Memorial Fund by submitting a check payable to the UH Bauer College of Business, c/o "Blessan Samuel Memorial Fund", 334 Melcher Hall, Houston, TX 77204-6021.
